My helper...

Carinna has a new hobby...

She does this with everything... books, toys... anything she can get her hands on.

"No, I NOT sleepy daddy!"

After we left the circus and got the boy loaded into his carseat... the first thing out of his mouth was "Is I not going to take a nap?" It was after 4 pm when we left the circus and so we figured he would just skip that days nap. Two minutes later... he was snoring!

The Circus is in town...

Saturday we took the boy to the circus...
Before the show started we were entertained by Leo the Clown. They also had pony rides & elephant rides!

It was during the boy's naptime, but he did very well!
During the intermission the kids had their pictures made with Leo...

Caden
Jack
Vivian

It was the perfect show for a preschooler. Nothing too complicated... not too much happening at one time.

On the way home he could NOT stay awake! But I think he had fun. He even had his first cotton candy experience! I am not totally sure if he liked it or not... he kept asking me to wipe his hands off.

In my bed...

The other night when I went to get into bed I was greeted by these little faces...
They were all tucked in for the night. Boys...

The Difference between boys and girls...

Having a young boy... and being stuck inside for the entire winter... is not the best combination. Needless to say, we have been VERY excited about the warm weather.

One day we ventured out to the backyard. When I set Carinna down in the grass she did this...
Her feet are not touching the ground...
It seems that Miss Priss doesn't care much for grass! She was very uncomfortable.

Her brother, on the other hand, was in his element! He ran, jumped, climbed, yelled and kicked.
Later her brother pushed her in the swing... she really wasn't too sure about that either. Although, if he were pushing me in the swing I would be nervous too!
When Caden was her age he would swing in that swing as long as you would push him. He LOVED it. I even have a picture of him asleep in it.
