I have been leaving a sippy cup on the boy's high chair tray every night while I prepare his food. He usually just plays with it, throwing it from one side to the other... or on the floor. The other day as I was preparing his food I heard a funny slurping noise. I turned around to see this...

Excellent! My oldest never WOULD drink from a sippy cup. And when she quit her bottle cold-turkey on our flight back from DC just before her 1st birthday we were in a fix. We finally discovered the straw (still eating out in those days, so we had siphoned liquid into her via a straw at various times). So, she was more of a "juice box" (you know those rubbermaid things with the straw down in them?) kind of kid. We learned with the next kid to introduce a sippy cup much earlier and STRONGLY encourage her to love it.
YES...and the cutest eyes and most adorable mouth! And don't forget his "booty" chin!
I remember when my firstborn drank from a sippy cup the first time...his Aunt Kacole taught him how!
Oh, and he looks VERY proud of himself. :-)
He is just too cute, and smart,too...must take after his grandma!!!
I really need to hear the laugh that goes with the adorable smiles! I'm all about the laugh!
